Maryvale beat Queen Creek 70-43 in their season home-opener and improved to 2-0.

The Panthers flipped the script after Queen Creek came away with the 67-49 victory when the two varsity basketball squads met last year.

Freshman Guard Elijah Antoine lead the Panthers in scoring with 19 points, including a pair of high-flying dunks to turn the crowd up.

Senior Combo Guard Adrian Stubbs also added in 15 points of his own to keep the Panthers undefeated on the season.

Maryvale scored 66 of their 70 points in just the first three quarters. While they only put up 4 points in the final quarter, their lead was comfortable enough for them to coast with their reserves in the remainder of the game.

The Panthers next face the Verrado Vipers in the PXU Coyote Invitational on November 24. Tip off is slated for 6:30 PM (MST).
